SKYWAVE TOWER

We are currently not accepting applications.  Tower technicians with minimum 4 years experience in the field for Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Indiana, and  Upper and Lower Michigan will be considered if we were looking for additional personnel.  

We build towers from the ground up, do extensive field repairs for 2-way municipal customers (antenna replacements), transmission lines, microwave installations, path alignments, plumb & tensions, sweep testing, and some site maintenance all usually within Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and the UP of Michigan.

Entry Level minimums:

Starting pay for tower technicians with 4 years experience $18/hr. on-site, ½ pay during drive time unless actually driving.  Generous daily per-diem when out overnight.

We can train the right individual in all aspects of the work that they may or may not have done before if they want to learn.

No Saturday, Sunday, or holiday work.  Progress reviews every 3-months.

  4. Have own climbing harness and basic tools

  5. Good Driving record (prefer CDL)

  6. Good personal habits

  9. Willing to work year around

10. Willing to travel from our shop up to 5 days at a time.
